Southern Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients:
4 pork chops slices
1 tbsps vegetable oil or shortening
1/4 teasp salt
1/4 teasp sage
2 apples, cored and sliced, (tart)
Dash brown sugar
1 tbsps flour
1/2 c hot water
1/2 tbsp vinegar
1/4 c raisins
Directions:
1. Deep Fry the pork chops in heated oil
2. Sprinkle salt & sage, then, put in a baking dish.
3. Top with apple rings, then Sprinkle some brown sugar.
4. Mix flour with fat in a skillet and blend well.
5. Add 1/2 c hot water and 1/2 tbsp vinegar.
6. Cook until thick.
7. Add 1/4 c raisins and pour over pork chops.
8. Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degrees for 60 minutes.
Serve 4.
